Guapdad 4000 has teamed up with producer !llmind for his newest album, 1176. Through 14 tracks, the Californa rapper puts together a solid but repetitive experience through his melodic vocals and crime-ridden songwriting. Behind the boards, !llmind doesn’t break the mold but holds things down through the versatility in the layering he puts over standard trap drums. When it comes to the product we got, my main complaint comes from Guapdad’s performance as he’s way more talented than this LP shows. Does 1176 project do anything special? No. Is it good? Well, kind of.
