With his new EP Lucky 7, Rich The Kid attempts to make an improbable comeback to the limelight. While big-name features like DaBaby, Lil Mosey, Quavo, and Takeoff deliver show-stealing performances here, the overall body of work is nothing more than a product of some mediocre tracks. I want to like Rich when he spruces up his flow and tries to tap into his element on songs like “Right”, but the moments surrounding this just turn me off to him as a whole. At this point, I doubt he’ll ever make a return to form.

- Rich is so generic for the most part is hurts to hear him rap
