Michigan Boat Boy is Lil Yachty’s newest project, and it’s surprisingly decent. Now Yachty is definitely out of his glory days, but he manages to make some sort of comeback with his newfound intense flow and hard-hitting bravado. With his energy reaming high, Yachty creates a competitive aura, and the array of Detroit rappers he brings in to add fuel this messy fire even more. Tee Grizzley, Sada Baby, and other names such as Swae Lee are some of the most renowned guests who don’t disappoint when called on. While this project is nothing groundbreaking, hearing Yachty and crew have fun is what traps all about.
