Legendary G-Unit member Lloyd Banks is back with his fourth studio album, The Course Of Inevitable. With this being the renowned lyrical titan’s first album in over a decade, will it be a memorable one?
When it comes to the design of the record, things are pretty simple, but this is far from a diss at Banks. He captures everything that’s so great about traditional hip hop and wraps it up in his own signature package. Raw lyricism, a frightful delivery, and some hard-hitting punchlines make each track an adventure in itself. Adding some great features from names like Freddie Gibbs, Benny The Butcher, and Roc Marciano only elevates the stakes of the experience to new heights. While there’s no mind-boggling concept and the middle of the record feels a little dragged out, Lloyd Banks once again shows why he’s one of the better spitters this game has ever seen.
